Sporting CP striker Viktor Gyokeres received a contract offer after signing off with a 54th goal of the season on Sunday.
Gyokeres has quickly grown into one of the hottest strikers in world football, scoring 97 goals in 102 games in all competitions for Sporting.
On Sunday, he was on target against Benfica in the Taca de Portugal, slotting home an ice cold penalty in the 101st minute to force extra time, where the Lions prevailed 3-1 to seal a domestic double.

The former Brighton and Coventry City striker looks set to move on to pastures new this summer, with a number of clubs keeping tabs on the Swede's situation.
According to Fabrizio Romano, Gyokeres has an agreement with Sporting which means he will be allowed to leave this summer if his £54.6 million transfer valuation is met.
Manchester United, managed by Gyokeres' former manager Ruben Amorim, have been heavily linked with a move.
But according to Florian Plettenberg, a deal is now "almost off the table" for Gyokeres - with United wrapping up a deal for Mateus Cunha and also pursuing Liam Delap.

However, a separate source claims that Gyokeres has already received a proposal from the Premier League.

After playing without a recognised striker, Arsenal are also on the hunt for a permanent number nine and transfer specialist Nicolo Schira is reporting that Gyokeres has been their "main target since September" and they have offered him a contract until 2030 as they continue discussions with his representatives.

The Mirror say that Arsenal will have to pay Gyokeres a salary of £200,000-a-week but the move could be the difference in securing a Premier League title after falling short three years on the trot.
After winning the double with Sporting, Gyokeres was asked about his future and said "let's see" in regards to a possible summer switch.

Gyokeres said: “Let us see. It’s hard for me to say, because yeah it is football and you never know what’s going to happen in the summer. So for me to say anything else than that is impossible.”
“I don’t know, I just focus on this. I’ve tried to focus on the last games because it’s so important and I don’t want to think about anything else. So yeah, if anything is true, let’s see in the summer.”
